This template provides a visual demonstration of how a computer adds two integers. You click the 'Go' button to input two decimal numbers A and B, then watch as the numbers are converted to binary and fed, stage by stage, into the logic gates to arrive at the sum (or difference). You can checkmark the single-step box to inspect each stage of the process, or simply let it run to completion. Because of the button and checkbox, the template uses VBA code, and macros need to be enabled to run this demo.
